Question 1

What are your whiteboards made of?

Accepted Answer

We use the following materials in our whiteboards:

Writing surface: A dry erase coated steel sheet, which makes the board magnetic. Custom graphics are fused below the surface with our proprietary polymer fusion process, so they won’t wear off or erase.
Backing: A wood backer coated with an aluminum film that acts as a moisture barrier and helps prevent warping.
Frame: Custom extruded aluminum channel.

Each board is cut to size and comes with hanging hardware notches on the back.

Question 2

Are all of your whiteboards magnetic?

Accepted Answer

Yes, all of the whiteboards that we manufacture are magnetic. We use a whiteboard coated sheet of steel in the construction making our whiteboards magnetic.

Question 3

Can I use the colored magnetic ribbon on other surfaces?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Our magnetic ribbon is nice and thick and will stick to any magnetic surface such as steel.

Question 4

Can your whiteboards be recycled?

Accepted Answer

Most of our products are not accepted by standard recyclers unless they are disassembled into parts (ex. aluminum frame).

Question 7

How does the whiteboard hang?

Accepted Answer

Our framed whiteboards come with hanging notches on the back of the board in the two upper corners. Each board will come with a hanging hardware set which includes anchors and screws. You will need a standard drill for installation and hanging.
For alternate hanging options for smaller boards see our Cubicle Boards.

Question 8

Where are your whiteboards made?

We've been manufacturing our whiteboards right here in Indiana since 1989!

Your custom whiteboard will come with hanging hardware and installation instructions. You will need a drill to install our whiteboards on a wall.
If you need duplicate instructions please send us an email.
